Sweden v England - U21 European Championships - KO 18:00
After an underwhelming 0-0 draw against Sweden in their tournament opener on Friday, failure to win again against Slovakia tonight would put huge strain on England's chances of progression into the knockout rounds.
England have Everton's new £30m signing Jordan Pickford to thank for their single point so far after he saved a late penalty, but after just one shot on target all match, there are very few positives to take from their opener.
Aidy Boothroyd's men have now won just one of their last 10 matches at the European Championships and they face a Slovakia side who came from behind to beat hosts Poland on Friday.
The young lions have failed to make it out of the group stages in each of the last three tournaments and they will almost certainly have to beat Slovakia tonight to stop it becoming a fourth.
Group outsiders Slovakia fell behind inside 60 seconds against tournament hosts Poland on Friday, but second half goals from Pavol Safranko and Martin Valjent saw the underdogs win 1-2. They now top Group A.
In terms of betting value in this one, we're not expecting many goals. England have now failed to score in two of their last three matches, and the likes of Tammy Abraham, Jacob Murphy and Nathan Redmond failed to really test Sweden goalkeeper Anton Cajtoft last time out. Under 1.5 England goals is 6/5 at Coral.
England certainly don't warrant their 8/11 favourites price tag in this one given their appalling record at the European Championships and Slovakia's strong recent record which has seen them lose just one of their last seven matches. The Slovakia Double Chance is worth a go with odds of 11/8 at bet365.
Tammy Abraham - 5/4
Cauley Woodrow - 7/4
Jacob Murphy - 2/1
Nathan Redmond - 2/1
Lewis Baker - 9/4
Jack Grealish - 9/4
Demarai Gray - 2/1
Pavol Safranko - 3/1
Tomas Vestenicky - 15/4
John Swift - 4/1
We've done well in the England senior side's four matches this year, but were let down by the young lions in their disappointing display against Sweden on Friday. We won't be making the same mistake tonight.
