Dundee v Celtic - Scottish League Cup - 19:45
Celtic should register another win on Wednesday as they visit out of form Dundee. The hosts got their first league win of the season against in-form St Johnstone on Saturday but had previously lost four in five against Ross County (1-2), Hamilton (3-0), Aberdeen (2-1) and Rangers (4-1). Celtic beat Dundee three times last season and make the trip to Dens Park in good form having won five of their six league matches so far this season. Brendan Rodgers' men have scored eight goals in back to back wins against Hamilton (1-4) and Ross County (4-0), we're hoping for another convincing win in Wednesday's League Cup tie.
Verona v Sampdoria - Serie A - 19:45
Sampdoria should make it three wins for the season against strugglers Verona on Wednesday. I Blucerchiati won their first two matches of the season against Benevento (2-1) and Fiorentina (1-2) before a respectable 2-2 draw at in-form Torino last time out. Their early season success is largely thanks to the form of Italian forward Fabio Quagliarella who has scored four goals in three and will be looking to net in his seventh straight Serie A appearance at The Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi on Wednesday. Verona's only point of the season so far came in a goalless draw at Crotone last month - they have been easily beaten by Napoli (1-3), Fiorentina (0-5) and Roma (3-0).
West Brom v Man City - League Cup - 20:00
After three thumping wins over the last 11 days against Liverpool (5-0), Feyenoord (0-4) and Watford (0-6), we're backing Man City to continue in the same vein at The Hawthorns against West Brom on Wednesday. Pep Guardiola's men remain unbeaten across all competitions so far this season (W5 D1) and with Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero in such fine form, we expect to see another convincing Man City in midweek. West Brom started the season well with back to back wins to nil against Bournemouth (1-0) and Burnley (0-1) but have struggled since having earned just two points from fixtures against Stoke (1-1), Brighton (3-1) and West Ham (0-0).
