Chelsea v Tottenham - FA Cup Semi Final - KO Saturday 17:30
This is definitely one not to be missed. Chelsea and Tottenham have been without doubt the best two sides in English football this season and deservedly find themselves streets ahead of Man City, Liverpool and the chasing pack as we near the end of the Premier League season. The two have faced each other twice already this season, with the home side coming out on top each time, we should be in for a cracker at Wembley on Saturday evening.
Pochettino's men make the short trip to North West London in the better form of the two sides having won each of their last seven league matches, whilst Conte's men have dropped points against the likes of Crystal Palace (1-2) and Burnley (1-1) during the same period. So recent form points towards a Spurs win, just, but the head-to-head record between the sides between the sides, particularly at Wembley, combined with Spurs' atrocious record there, most definitely points towards the league leaders. Spurs have grown to hate Wembley this season after their disastrous European campaign took place there, defeats against Monaco and Leverkusen, plus a 2-2 draw against Belgians Gent which ended their Europa League campaign earlier this year, means Spurs probaby won't be looking forward to Saturday's return. Chelsea will hope for more of the same after cup wins over Spurs at Wembley in 2012 and 2015.
In terms of recent form, Spurs were back to full strength on Saturday as they thrashed Bournemouth 4-0 at White Hart Lane - their 15th straight home win across all competitions. Pochettino's men have struggled away from the Lane this season, but have improved of late after back to back away wins at Burnley and Swansea, unfortunately for them however, it could be too little too late in terms of their title challenge.
Chelsea have been more consistent in terms of their form away from the Bridge, with 11 wins compared to Tottenham's six, but they have struggled when visiting the big sides. Conte's men have lost twice without scoring in North London this season at Spurs and Arsenal, they lost at Man Utd most recently (2-0) and they've also failed to win away at Liverpool in 2017.
We really can't chose between these two sides - we've gone for the draw, but focused on the goals markets with Total Goals & BTTS selections.
