We pick our best bets for Thursday with fixtures in the Sky Bet Championship & Copa del Rey.
Celta Vigo v Valencia - Copa del Rey - 6pm
Celta Vigo look a decent bet to knock Valencia out in the 2nd leg of their Round of 16 game on Thursday night. Celta Vigo thrashed Valencia in the first leg of the R16 at the Mestella, winning 4-1 with Celta Vigo going 3-0 up in the opening 20 minutes of the game. Valencia have picked up just one win in their last six away games, at Leganes in the Copa del Rey. Valencia have netted in each of their last nine away games, BTTS looks a decent bet given Valencia's scoring record away from home. Celta Vigo have won five of their last seven at Balaidos, but have kept just one clean sheet in their last nine at home. Celta Vigo beat Valencia 2-1 in early November, we're hoping for more of the same on Thursday, we're backing Celta Vigo & BTTS - 11/4 at bet365.
Reading v Queens Park Rangers - Sky Bet Championship - 8pm
Jaap Stam's Reading look good value at home to QPR on Thursday night at the Madejski. Reading were humiliated at Old Trafford on Saturday, losing 4-0 in the FA Cup, however Man Utd are on an excellent winning streak & are unbeaten at home since mid-September. Reading's home record has been excellent this season, picking up 9 wins in 14 games, their only defeat of the season at home coming against Aston Villa in October. Reading have won their last five at home, beating decent opposition (Norwich & Sheffield Wednesday) while alos beating league strugglers Burton Albion, Nottingham Forest & Bristol City. QPR seem to have regressed since appointing Ian Holloway, losing seven of his 10 games in charge including losing six games in a row. QPR have lost four of their last six away from home, failing to score in four. Reading look a good bet to pick up three points here - Reading 3/4 at bet365.
